Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Department: Sales
Reports To: Senior Account Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and handles or resolves complaints by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Reviews customer orders and compares to sales estimates, materials, processes, pricing, and delivery lead times for accuracy.*
  2. Enters reviewed orders in ALT sales order job production system with accurate process, material, pricing, and lead time information.*
  3. Receives delivery date from scheduling and sending order acknowledgements to customers.*
  4. Pre-plans jobs related to raw materials, outsource process, and tooling availability and timing.*
  5. Prepares job travelers accordingly and submits to the Engineering Team for processing.*
  6. Prepares and manages outside process purchase orders by working directly with the Purchasing and Shipping and Receiving Departments on a proactive basis.*
  7. Receives, inputs, responds, and manages all customer order change requests, date change requests, product issues, and customer complaints.*
  8. Engages and communicates effectively with customers related to anticipated production, quality, delivery issues, problems, or needs related to meeting or exceeding the customer’s needs in a proactive manner.*
  9. Engages and communicates with Sales Team members regarding all pertinent issues regarding customer updates and issues.*
  10. Maintains material certificates for purchased materials.*
  11. Applies practical knowledge of manufacturing to suggest modification, improve cost efficiencies and pair with manufacturing capabilities, and explore potential areas of growth for the company.*
  12. Assists with answering incoming calls through the company's main switchboard.
  13. Initiates and fosters a solid rapport and relationship with internal and external customers.


Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Specialized Training:

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel training

Job Title: Powder Coat Painter
Department: Paint/Assembly
Reports To: Production Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for loading, cleaning, painting, curing, final inspection, unloading, and packaging and delivery of finished painted products to the customer by using Applied Laser Technologies paint specifications along with the correct components and parts necessary to produce the product. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to reading and interpreting blueprints, positions, parts, and ensuring the correct fit by performing repairs as needed and reporting errors in the assembly line by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Sets up work area for efficient processing and maximum output of jobs.*
  2. Ensures a high level of proficiency across all operations within a focused team environment.*
  3. Processes product through the powder coating paint system including cleaning, painting, and curing operations quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail and quality.*
  4. Ensures parts are quickly processed, counted, stacked, and/or packaged in the best possible fashion for the following operation.*
  5. Identifies visual and dimensional defects and ensures that potential problems are effectively communicated to department lead or supervisor.*
  6. Maintains awareness of estimated production standard processing times and alerts supervisor when time is unachievable.*
  7. Ensures that parts are correct according to the print and/or traveler and paint quality specifications.*
  8. Monitors machine operation and quality of parts and makes machine adjustments as necessary.*
  9. Operates all required inspection equipment and tools to measure and document quality data for each part or batch.*
  10. Reads, understands, and implements all information and instructions included on job travelers and technical drawings.*
  11. Ensures the proper completion of all manufacturing and inspection documentation as required by company policies.*
  12. Packages completed parts quickly and in a way that ensures minimum damage during transit.*
  13. Ensures that parts are quickly delivered to the following operation or shipping as required.*
  14. Contributes strongly and consistently on a daily basis to the paint team to ensure consistent product and cooperative communication.*
  15. Identifies and/or cooperates with potential opportunities for efficiency/productivity increases and cost reduction strategies.*

Job Title: Technical Account Manager (Senior Account Manager)
Department: Sales

Summary: Responsible for the overall management responsibility for key customer accounts as well as the Inside Sales Department regarding the servicing and growing of all assigned customer accounts that meet department and company goals in an effective and efficient manner by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Manages personally new or key customer accounts as assigned by the general manager to secure, develop, and grow the account to the appropriate level that allows them to be assigned to an account manager.*
  2. Builds, leads, and manages account management team effectively, in a way that allows them to meet their goals and achieve their objectives.*
  3. Prepares and presents regular customer account status updates and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing critical performance and customer information to the general manager.*
  4. Works with the account management team and other key departments to meet the sales, financial performance, and customer service level goals of the Sales Department and overall company.*
  5. Interacts and communicates effectively will all internal departments and customers to support manufacturing of finished product that meets all customer design, qualify, and delivery requirements.*
  6. Promotes and leads the sales team in all areas related to teamwork, cross training, and positive work environment.*
  7. Works directly with the general manager to formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to the Sales Department and key customer accounts.*
  8. Researches, develops, and supports cost reduction and continuous improvement projects or opportunities that will help meet the goals within the department and increase customer service levels.*
  9. Works with production and pre-production management proactively to balance customer demands with future production manufacturing capacity availability based on projected customer requirements and forecasts.*

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD LT, Solidworks, E-Drawings, and M1.
 

Education/Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Sets up work area for efficient processing and maximum throughput of jobs.*
  2. Processes panels through final operations quickly, efficiently, and with high attention to detail and quality.*
  3. Identifies visual and dimensional defects and ensures that potential problems are effectively communicated to your department lead or supervisor.*
